Artist statement
In her artistic practice, Yuliia explores femininity, female nature, and its energy. Central to her work are themes of love, motherhood, and the importance of freedom as an essential element of the feminine essence.
She highlights various states of women in the contemporary world, addressing everyday challenges, self-realization, fatigue, inner contradictions, and the ongoing search for balance. Through her works, Yuliia gives voice to the inner feminine presence, allowing it to speak openly and honestly.
Sources of inspiration for Yuliia include narratives from her own life as well as the lives of her relatives and close ones. At the same time, global events and processes that shape world history have a significant influence on her artistic vision.
Through her artistic practice, the artist draws the viewer’s attention to phenomena that are seemingly obvious yet often remain invisible in everyday life, particularly within the context of female experience. Her paintings frequently speak through metaphor, inviting personal interpretation and emotional engagement.
